Welcome to my first long awaited blog post!  First of all I'm so excited to have you all along on this journey with me.  I would like to take a moment to introduce myself and give you a bit of backstory so you know who is behind the bench creating the pieces you have fallen in love with.

My name is Holly Stringer.  I'm a wife, and mother of two beautiful young girls. I grew up on a farm in southwest Missouri, a true country girl at heart. Many of my days were spent looking for any cool rocks I could find (in the field, in the creek, or even in the driveway). I spent quite a bit of time around my chores crafting, reading, and drawing.

After college I decided to start a little jewelry business on the side in 2005. That little business grew, and I started exploring my options to expand my skills. I am the first to say that I am self-taught with the help of  countless books, magazines, hours on YouTube, countless tutorials, and a couple online classes. Each piece is the result of years of learning, years of failures, and years of finally getting it right. 

There have been many changes to my jewelry over the last several years, and I'm sure there are many more to come as I grow as an artist, designer, and business owner.  Thank You so much to those follow and support me, without you none of this would be possible.
